A capacity field of 18 will line up in the $200,000 Ballarat Cup on Saturday at Ballarat racecourse in Ballarat.
Equal top weights with 60 kilograms are the Peter Moody trained Fat Al and local Dan O’Sullivan hope Tuscan Fire.
The sole emergency is Shenzou Steeds from the Mitchell Freedman yard.
A total of 136 horses have accepted for the quality 10-race meeting at Ballarat on Saturday 22nd November with the 2014 Ballarat Cup (2200m) the feature event of the day.
The Sportsbet.com.au Ballarat Cup is Race 8 on the card at 4.40pm in the afternoon.
Ballarat Turf Club’s Executive Assistant & Events Manager Belinda Glass said there had been a great response to the club’s first standalone Saturday cup meeting.
“The Change to a Saturday has had a fantastic impact on pre-sales and general interest in the event,” Belinda said.”

The $200,000 Magic Millions Clockwise Classic (1000m) has attracted a field of nine runners including Danny O’Brien’s unbeaten beneteua colt Promt Return.
The Clockwise Classic (Race 6), which is run in the opposite direction, is unique to Victoria and scheduled to run at 3.25pm at Ballarat.
“From a racing perspective, we are excited about what lies ahead,” Belinda said.

Other feature races on Ballarat Cup Day include the $100,000 Magic Millions 3YO Classic (1100m) and the Thomas Jewellers VOBIS Gold Eureka Stockade (1400m)
A field of 12 has accepted for the Magic Millions 3yo Classic (R4 @ 2.10pm) while the Thomas Jewellers VOBIS Gold Eureka Stockade (R5 @ 2.45pm) has also assembled a field of 12 runners.
